She made her television debut in in 'Holby City' and has made her fair share of performances in medically-themed dramas - 'Monroe', 'Call the Midwife', 'Doctors' and the sitcom 'Green Wing' before, in , becoming the new pathologist in the long-running 'Midsomer Murders'.
