Kaakie Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey , apart from being one of the biggest female Dancehall artiste in Africa, she is also the very first female to combine a Nursing and Music careers.

Generally, it is very rare to find a female musician doing Dancehall in Africa or from Africa. Most importantly is the core fan base Kaakie commands in these countries. I, Samini, Sarkodie, R2Bees and a host of others. She wrapped up her nationwide tour few months ago — dubbed Kaakit Up Tour, affording her the opportunity to pursue a cause she has always been passionate about and which underlies her reason to pursue Nursing — helping to reduce Maternal Mortality.

The campaign is not only being limited to visiting maternal Units of major hospitals and making donations but starting off conversations that create awareness about Maternal Mortality.
